Photocopier Locations

There are 14 photocopiers on various floors of the library.

  • Basement, elevator lobby
  • Floor 1: under the stairs, behind the computers in the entrance and the InfoLab
  • Floor 1M: elevator lobby
  • Floor 2: elevator lobby and periodical room
  • Floor 3: Copy Center
  • Floor 9: Special Collections

Paying for Photocopies

  • Black and white copies cost 10¢ per page.
  • All of the machines accept Debitcards. There is one coin-operated machine in the 3rd Floor Copy Center.
  • Purchase Debitcards from vending machines mounted on the wall on the 1st Floor (near the copy machines located under the main staircase and in Room 140, InfoLab) and 3rd Floor Copy Center.
  • Debitcards cost $1.00 (card costs $.25 and $.75 credit goes on the card). Also, add money to Debitcards using these vending machines.

Scanning

  • The Copy Center houses 3 scanners, one that scans direct to email (black and white) and two others (one black and white and one color).
  • The Periodicals Room has one that scans direct to email (black and white).
  • The Reference Department has one in 262D/E (color).
  • The InfoLab (Room 140) has one (color).
  • MMC (Room 443) as microform scanner/digitizer.

Presentation

Rooms M279B and 449 in Memorial Library contain:

  • 40-inch presentation monitors
  • MS Office software

Visit the Circulation Desk to borrow the wireless keyboard and mouse. You will need to leave your UW ID with the staff at the desk. Reserve one of these rooms.
